You may remember Scott, a veteran and truck driver who got stuck in Little Rock when his truck broke down. He and his wife and seven children stayed with us at St. Francis House for almost a month while waiting on truck repairs, a place to live, and the ability to resume employment.
Today, Scott and his family are in a new house with room for all. The children are adjusting to their new schools, and Scott is working. With the help of various St. Francis House donors, Scott and his family have been provided with money for clothes and school supplies, as well as household items and other necessities to help them get off to a good start here.
It sure looks like they’ll be staying here for a while.
