Kasheena is a single mother of four who recently lost her job. As often happens, the loss of a job often leads to other financial troubles.
She got behind in her rent and lost her place to live. With no money for a deposit but four children to care for, she had to put a roof over their heads. Her new place requires no deposit, but you pay by the week- $250.00 a week to be precise, even more than her previous rent.
Odd jobs bring in money for rent, but Christmas looked pretty bleak. Luckily, she was able to get help from St. Francs House. Presents for the kids, a big box of groceries…..and a few days’ grace before she tackles her financial struggles once more.
