“I’ve never been here before. What do I need to do?” Friendly, but looking a little uncertain, Keyli had lots of questions. “I just lost my house and I’m actually living in my truck right now. I got your name from the paper at City Hall and a friend said ya’ll were really nice.”
Keyli was more than willing to share her St. Francis House experience. “I mean, you helped me. If this might help you, sure!” As she talked to a staff member, she asked about the day and overnight shelters, places to get meals, how to get medical supplies for her father who had a stroke. She was overjoyed to find out she could get clothing here as well as food.
“All the staff are so helpful. They made me feel right at home. They’ll help with anything they can. I’ve never been in this situation before so I had a million questions and they answered every one. I think I found out more information about services in Little Rock here than anywhere else!” We’re so glad we were able to help!
