Long-Time Supporters Colonial Dames!

Colonial Dames 17th Century (CDXVIIC), Col. John Washington Chapter, delivered women’s clothing and household supplies when it was learned a Veteran housed at St. Francis House (SFH) Veterans Re-Entry Program had been admitted to the facility with just the clothes she was wearing. CDXVIIC members responded within two days and delivered much needed items for her.

The chapter adopted SFH in 2013 as part of its Community Outreach Program. Members of the chapter bring new personal items or donate money at every meeting for the Veterans. When a special request is received, the chapter does not wait for its next meeting to respond. Past CDXVIIC projects for SFH have included Work Boots for Veterans, Christmas Baskets, Towels for Veterans, and Bus Fare for Veterans.
