James Allen is a new client to St. Francis House. He is single and self-employed with what had been a thriving handyman business here in Little Rock. Thriving, that is, before the COVID-19 shut-downs. He has had some business, enough to keep his company open, but not enough to pay his one employee, himself.
Currently, he is behind in both rent and utilities, but thanks to a new grant from the City of Little Rock, St. Francis House was able to help him pay enough rent to avoid eviction.
