Our newest community resources volunteer Mr. Armstrong loves to help people. “It’s what I do. I help out all over, sometimes as a volunteer, sometimes on my own.”
A very soft-spoken and polite man, he just laughed when asked for a picture. “That’s OK. The folks who know me will know who it is.”
“I like volunteering here. It’s a good work environment, quiet with nice people and a good community. I help in the pantry, sweep, mop, sort clothes, anything that needs to be done. And I love seeing the smiles on people’s faces when they get help with what they need. It may not be all they need, but it’s something. it can help change a life.”
