It’s amazing how much love you can fit in a plastic bag! That’s what the Parkview ROTC showed us when they arrived with a truck full of plastic bags filled with toiletry items for our veterans.
Lieutenant Commander James Castleberry (Navy retired) and two of his ROTC cadets, Colton Kirby and Taylor Green, delivered the items on behalf of their ROTC unit.
The idea was the brainchild of Margaret Shellnutt. The cadets arranged for all the supplies, and then spent their time making the toiletry bags. A special thank you also goes out to Nic at Zoe’s Kitchen for helping to feed hungry cadets while they worked!
