In August, General Colin Powell was in town for a speaking engagement. While in Little Rock, he was able to make time to come and visit with the homeless veterans currently staying here at the St. Francis House.
The General was very encouraging as he took the time to shake each veteran’s hand and speak to them individually, and then as a group.
