DISCLAIMER:  We DO NOT receive Federal or State money for utility assistance. The money we receive comes from personal donations that St. Francis House receives in the mail and through our website. The assistance we can provide is on a limited first come-first served basis and we apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. The amount of funds we have available for utility
assistance will vary from month to month, throughout the year.

 

   HERE ARE THE UTILITY ASSISTANCE GUIDLINES.  PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW THEM.
In fairness to others, exceptions are not allowed.

  1. YOU MUST HAVE AN OFFICIAL SHUT OFF NOTICE FOR ASSISTANCE.

  2. Utility Assistance help will only be available on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month. No exceptions.
    1. June 13th and 27th 
    2. July 11th and 25th 
    3. August 8th and 22nd
    4. Sept 12th and 26th
    5. October 10th and 24th
    6. November 14th and 28th
    7. December 12th and 26th
    8. Dates may change, please check back often.
  3. CALL or TEXT our Utility Assistance number (501) 777-5803 on the dates listed above and
    between the hours of 9:00am-10:00am. If you call, the phone will be busy, you have to keep calling to get through.

    2. Please do not call St. Francis House directly. Only use the number listed above.

      2. What type of utility bill :  WATER, ELECT. GAS.
      3. Your account number on the Utility Bill

    4. Funds are limited and on a first call, first served basis.
  4. WE DO NOT TAKE WALK-INS. NO EXCEPTIONS.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR UTILITY ASSISTANCE FROM ST. FRANCIS HOUSE

  1. You MUST have an official “SHUT OFF NOTICE” from the utility company.
  2. We only assist with the  “CURRENT AMOUNT DUE”, that is shown on the notice.
    1. In some instances, we may not be able to help with the full amount above, only a partial amount.
    2. WE DO NOT PAY PAST DUE AMOUNTS.
  3. Funds are limited and on a first call, first served basis.
