What do two college freshman twins do on their spring break? Why volunteer of course! At least that’s what these two young ladies did this year.
Both Little Rock natives are freshmen at Arkansas State University and have a history of volunteering. “Our mom taught us to give back, so we’ve always volunteered – at the library, the zoo, the hospital, and our church.”
When asked, “Why St. Francis House?” the girls credit their mom, Abby Ellington. “I’ve known how St. Francis House helps families for a while. And it seemed like a great place for the girls to volunteer their time.”
Rischaye and Rischall worked six hours a day Monday through Thursday of their spring break. They helped with filing, sorted clothes in the clothes closet and organized toiletries. Perhaps even more important, they were there with ready smiles and willing hands to take on whatever was needed.
Thank you, Rischaye and Rischall! We’ll miss your smiling faces and look forward to seeing you, and putting you to work, when you come back this summer.
