So often when we think of mission, we think of other places – third world countries with people who speak and perhaps look different from us. But opportunities for mission are right around the corner. The poor, hungry, ill, and hopeless are present in our own community and are present always, not just a few times a year. The young people from St. Mark’s and Christ Episcopal churches are learning that and giving their time to local ministries.
