St. Francis House was the very first outing and service project for new Girl Scout Troop 6868! These young ladies sorted and hung clothes, made up hygiene bags and brought food for the St. Francis House Store. Troop leader, Sarah Hobson said “We are a brand new troop and have only had one meeting. This is our FIRST service project. In the spirit of MLK, our girls wanted to dig in and help the veterans and less fortunate of our community. They learned how incredibly blessed they are to have the everyday things we take for granted. They are still talking about how much fun they had. Thank you St. Francis House for what you do and for educating our girls!”
