Marilyn has a lot on her plate! Her husband is disabled, and she is his full-time caregiver. With the various COVID restrictions, she is now also the caregiver for fourteen grandchildren! Because all of her children are low-wage essential workers, when schools closed, the grandchildren came to stay. Her children help as they can, but money is very tight. Unfortunately, not all electric companies have waived disconnections during the pandemic. Marilyn sometimes came to St. Francis House for prescription help and food, but she had never needed utility help before. Thanks to all of you, St. Francis House was able to keep the lights on and breezes blowing- literally!
