Cortez Williams is a 30-year-old father of four. who loves cars, video games, playing pool, and animals. He crushed all the bones in his thumb unloading a truck at work and through a special program, his workman’s comp paid him to volunteer at St. Francis three days a week. “My time here at SFH has been great and I hope to be here a lot longer after I heal.” Mr. Cortez’s future plans are to buy a house and eventually open a kennel.
