Micheal Van Johnson Jr. American Legion Post 74, has been a long-time supporter of St. Francis House. They have raised an amazing amount of money over the years with their Produffers Golf Tournament. This year’s tournament was canceled due to the tornadoes in the area, but that didn’t stop them from raising money for St. Francis House. At an event hosted by Eastern Star Baptist Church honoring their Pastor Reverend Landrum Marshall, SFH Director Greg Chastine was presented with a check for $13,000.00! Jerome James, with Dr. Estella Morris, and Deacon Lee Jeffrey, made the presentation. Deacon Jeffrey was also presented with a certificate honoring his many years of service to the Legion and the community.
