I was able to use our generous donations to pay a light bill for a client today. She was so grateful she drove to St. Francis House to thank me in person! She explained that she is a CNA for a home health agency but she does not have many clients just yet. Not only is she stressed about her utilities but she is also concerned about being evicted because of this. While our funds do not offer rental assistance, I was able to pay $201.86 on her light bill.
