I met a Veteran on the street one day. He was living in his car so I gave him a card. Next thing we know, he’s calling, suicidal with a gun to his head. So, we picked him up, took him to Fort Root and he was admitted. After treatment he was released to SSVF, we got him into a hotel and set him up with food., helped him get his needed documentation and now we’re working on getting him housing. -Jared
