“CH is an unsheltered woman in her mid-thirties. We don’t know much about her, but we always try to make her feel welcome and safe.
She’s always got bruises and sometimes she comes in without adequate clothing. One day, she had only a sweatshirt and panties. We let her get clothes anytime and we always give her a toothbrush and hygiene items as well as snacks and water.
She never asks for help and doesn’t tell us what’s happening. But we have our suspicions, so we let her stay as long as she wants and try to let her know we’re here if she needs help.” -Christina
