PW and her three year old daughter have been coming to St. Francis House for several months. When they first began coming, PW was fleeing from an abusive partner. She and her daughter were homeless and they came in for snack bags, clothing and a monthly bus pass. “Two of our other clients, a couple, kind of took them under their wing, checking on them, helping them find resources. PW had been looking for housing and when she came in she told me that they had recently been housed. Now they come for groceries, not just snack bags!” -Christina
