SB is a single mother of a three year old daughter. Prior to coming to St. Francis House, they had been living in her car. They came to St. Francis House last December and have been trying to find housing. Unfortunately, SB was overqualified for HUD/VASH housing assistance. That’s when SSVF stepped in. SSVF helped her locate affordable housing, paid her security deposit, utility deposits and first month’ rent allowing her to have the means to set up their new home!
