I’m working with a Veteran who was evicted. He is wheelchair-bound and had only the clothes he left in. He is quite large and also has infections on both legs so nothing we had in donations was appropriate. We got him into a motel and have been providing his food, etc. Thanks to several donors, he now has brand-new clothes to wear. he is getting to his doctor appointments and is in the process of finding emergency housing through HUD/VASH. 
Most recently, our wheelchair-bound Veteran has found a house that is wheelchair accessible and checks off all the boxes he needs. We’ve filled out the paperwork and he should be moving in soon! -Jared
