Martin Luther King Day was a hive of activity at St. Francis House. Our friends from Compassionately Connected for Veterans (CC4V) organized a day of service with Sister Friends United, Inc. , Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, and students from Little Rock School District and Pulaski County Special School District.
They served a delicious chili dinner to our Veterans and the young people also made the Veterans Valentines cards to be given out in February and bagged rice to be distributed to food pantries, including ours! They even brought enough bottled water to share with our unhoused clients in Community Resources!
