Our St. Francis House Veterans’ day celebration continued with a delicious hot dog and hamburger lunch brought by our friends at UAMS. These folks have been coming to St. Francis House on Veterans’ day for the last ten years, and with the potato salad, baked beans, cookies, and ice cream, it was a true Veterans’ Day treat! It’s their last stop on a busy morning- going to Ft. Roots, giving gift bags to Veterans in hospital at UAMS, and a ceremony honoring their Veteran colleagues at UAMS. After lunch, they also gave gift bags to all our Veterans and their family members. Thank you for your continued support; you show our Veterans how much they are appreciated!
