“My car broke down between Jonesboro and Little Rock, and I used all my money trying to get it fixed”. “David” is currently staying at the Compassion Center while he and his friend,” Johnson”, work toward getting an apartment. “My car wasn’t fixable so I’m out of transportation and a place to live. But thank God, there are places like Compassion Center and St. Francis House that help.
“David” worked in sales until he had to go on disability in 2010. “I worked with various agencies to get back on track. I’m fine when I can stay focused and take care of myself. Today helped, we got free phones, snack bags, and hygiene items, and my friend got a bus pass. And they were giving out these cool bags that hold all my things.”
