Frank comes often to St. Francis House. “I used to come for food and clothing, but now I mainly get snack bags because I’m homeless.”
Frank was working for a lumber company when he was injured on the job. Once he couldn’t work, he lost his apartment. “I’ve applied for SSI Disability, but it’s taking a long time. I’m also looking for a job that doesn’t involve manual labor. I’ve been staying at the Compassion center, so I have a place to sleep, but sometimes I need help with other things. St. Francis House always helps me out.”
