Kathy is moving into her place! That’s truly exciting because she’s been living with friends or sleeping in her car ever since she lost her job and eventually became homeless. After finding a job and then saving up for deposits and fees she was ready…. until she tried to get her water turned on. A back bill from before she became homeless was still on the books, and she couldn’t start service until it was paid. Knowing she would lose her new apartment if she couldn’t get the water turned on, she called St. Francis House. St. Francis House was able to pay her back water bill and Kathy is now in her new place with a job and bills covered! Way to go Kathy; we’re so glad we could help!
