St. Francis House says a huge thank you to Dr. Margie Scott, McClellan VA Medical Director, the VA Day Treatment Center, the VA Emergency Disaster Relief Team and St. Mark’s Episcopal Church for their help keeping our Veterans cool and comfortable when the power went out!
St. Francis House lost power in the storm last Wednesday evening, but with VA and community help, our Veterans were well-attended and very little damage done. The VA delivered cots and bedding to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, where Veterans were staying while the power was out. Power was restored later Thursday night.
