Between Benefits!

Jeff is a 71 year old Veteran. He makes ends meet with his Social Security of $860.00 a month and his VA pension $800.00 per month. Even then he sometimes comes in for food and clothing to tide him over until the end of the month. Last month, due to a paperwork error, he learned his VA pension had been cut-off and will take six months to be reinstated.  He managed to pay all of his bills except his light bill. Knowing about St. Francis House’ services, he came to seek help. Because his usual income puts his income over the various Veteran services available, he stopped in to Social Services. Thanks to your donations, his light bill is paid and he can focus on researching what benefits might be available to him in his current situation.
