It certainly hasn’t been a normal year for any of us! While we at Saint Mark’s would love to tell you that we’re confident we’re going to be able to have the 16th Annual Shrimp Boil Benefit for St Francis House in October like years past, we don’t know if that’s going to be the case. We can tell you a few things haven’t changed this year. St. Francis House is still here and continues to support the people of central Arkansas who fall through the cracks elsewhere. We know that they will have more needs in the coming months than they’ve had historically. We are beginning a virtual campaign to raise funds from now until August 2nd.
Saint Francis House is seeing a high need for rent and utility assistance, medical and medicine funding, food and clothing needs, as well as crisis assistance and funding for Homeless Veterans. Many clients already were having a hard time making ends meet before the pandemic and loss of jobs. By making a donation now, you will make a difference in your community. This is one thing that a pandemic doesn’t have to change this year. There are several ways to donate:
