The first thing you notice about new food pantry staff member, Brandon Johnson, is the way he treats St. Francis House clients. From the time they come in sight, you hear, “How can I help you? No problem, I’ve got you! Have a blessed day!”
Mr. Johnson is a Little Rock native and lives near St. Francis House. “I applied because it’s close by, convenient and it had good hours. ” But you can tell he loves his job. “Customer service is what it’s about. if they remember that I’ve done that, I’ve done what I’m meant to do.” He continued, “Positive energy can change anything. I give it to them, their day gets better, and they give it back. I’m truly blessed to be here.”
